Susy is an exceptional Pilates teacher. She puts so much energy, effort, thought and care into her teaching during all her classes, both online and in the studio. She describes and explains the exercises so well, giving cues that are spot-on, and adapting exercises where needed for different physiques and levels of ability. Her focus on getting the movements and positions exactly right with her brilliant guidance make each class very satisfying and energising. As one of my fellow class-mates said ‘You can’t cheat in Susy’s class!’ . Her knowledge and love of Pilates is really inspiring. She has motivated me to really improve my Pilates practice and I feel very lucky to have her as a teacher. Her classes are wonderfully enjoyable.
I have been going to Susy for one to one Pilates classes for over a year now. I have spinal issues and the work I am doing with her is building my strength and enabling me to move more freely. This is because she is an expert in her field and she puts so much thought into constructing the exercises that will help me. I leave our classes feeling taller and even breathing better! This has enabled me to undertake more exercise during the week as I am more flexible and am managing pain better. It is a real joy to spend an hour with such a caring and talented practitioner and it is also fun – I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Suzy has taught me Pilates for several years, both in the studio (reformer) and online (mat). In addition to be being a technically excellent teacher, she is a great motivator. Her enthusiasm means her classes are always fun. I have rheumatoid arthritis and Suzy has always adapted the classes if needed – her classes have helped to improve my posture and strength.
I simply can’t recommend Susy enough! Susy has been instrumental in my recovery following a back operation, I was new to pilates and 4 years I am stronger than ever. Susy is patient, encouraging, and has a genuine interest in those that she teaches. During lockdown and working from home my weekly pilates sessions with Susy became even more crucial for both my physical and mental health. In short, Susy has been my saviour.
I have been attending a pilates class with Susan for 2 years now and I have to say it’s been a real life changer! Susan is fully aware of my bodies ailments and has tailored a class to help improve my posture and as a result I am now so much more flexible. I have to say it also really tones my body and is a class I enjoy attending even when i’m really tired at the end of the day I really look forward to it. Long may it continue.

I have been attending Susan’s Pilates classes for the last 2 years, her teaching is excellent she gives lots of encouragement and will make herself aware of any aches and pains that I may have and she will come up with an alternative that suits me better. It’s never the same from week to week she will add and include exercises to stretch you just that little bit more, all muscle groups get a good work out. I can feel that my core is stronger and it just makes me feel good about myself.
I find Pilates helps me to relax, breathe and calm myself down after a busy day I have made progress with both strength and flexibility. Susan is a warm and friendly instructor who definitely gives you the personal touch.
Absolutely amazing class with Susy as usual. Susy always takes time to make sure you are in the right position and working the right muscles without fear of injury. Hard work but ultimately lots of fun!
The Louella Belle team organised a virtual pilates class for our customers and team members, it was great to break up the day with a much needed stretch, Susy was informative, professional and everyone enjoyed the class.

Susy has been teaching me Pilates for nearly a year and I can highly recommend her. She has been extremely reliable, having taught us both online via Zoom (when there were Covid restrictions), and in person. I was keen to be pushed quite hard and she definitely took me at my word! She is also, however, sensitive to my limitations and some areas of muscle inflexibility. She has kept some routine but also introduced new exercises to keep things interesting.
I’ve been doing Susy’s classes since exhale pilates went online. She is an incredible, passionate and an encouraging teacher who cares about her students. I’ve loved being able to do more classes since they went online and have seen my progression as a result.
